Due to the specialist nature of this area of wealth planning many professionals such as accountants may not have the specialist knowledge to provide advice on these matters.

A legal opinion can be sought, but the appointed counsel may well defer to our lawyers, who are the leading authority on this subject. However, we have found that sometimes a client's current advisor 'doesn't like' the trust planning, and on these occasions we will always invite the current advisor to meet us with the client, so that, together, we may engage in open discussion and assist transparency of process.
